We are pleased to announce the addition of this exciting new treatment for allergies to our list of services at Boise Natural Health. NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique) goes beyond standard treatments for allergies. Family Medical Care

We provide comprehensive general care for the whole family – men, women and children - treating both recent illnesses and ongoing chronic problems. Our focus is on treating the whole person. We encourage education, self-responsibility and prevention.

Women’s Health Care

We provide routine annual exams and offer natural treatments for conditions ranging from infertility, endometriosis, PMS, and menopause. We use salivary and urinary hormone testing.

Laboratory Services

Standard labs such as chemistry screens, pap smears, thyroid evaluations and urinalysis can be done through the office. We also offer innovative diagnostic tests to evaluate food allergies, heavy metal toxicity, and adrenal fatigue.

Dispensary

High quality supplements, herbal medicines, and homeopathics are available through the office to established patients. Patients of Boise Natural Health can use the Refill Form to submit requests for refills.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a centuries-old system of medicine that operates on the principle of “like cures like”. Natural substances that cause symptoms when taken in large amounts are given therapeutically in very small amounts to treat those same symptoms. Homeopathy is highly effective for acute conditions and can aslo be used to treat long-standing illnesses when prescribed properly.

Clinical Nutrition

Improper diet, nutritional deficiencies, and food allergies can often be the cause of or contribute to many health conditions. Naturopathic Physicians have extensive training in creating food plans for people to help them optimize their health. One diet plan does not fit all. Although we focus mainly on diet, intelligent supplementation can make a significant difference.

Cancer Care

Dr. Joan Haynes works with cancer patients undergoing conventional therapy. Patients must be under the care of an oncologist. Proper supplementation and diet issues are addressed for both chemotherapy and radiation approaches. The goal is to enhance the body's ability to withstand these treatments while not interfering with the effectiveness. In many cases, supplementation, diet and other modalities can even enhance the effectiveness of the conventional treatments.

Detoxification

We work with patients to clean their systems from environmental and metabolic toxins. We do this by creating individualized programs using meal plans, chelation, supplements colon hydrotherapy, and suggestions for avoiding toxins. Twice a year we lead a group cleanse, where patients identify food allergens and sensitivities while they are undergoing a detoxification program. Suggestions for non-toxic household products and lifestyle choices are also presented.

Colon Hydrotherapy

Tracie McBride performs colon hydrotherapy for our patients to aid in detoxification programs. This treatment uses gentle washing of the colon with the use of a colonic machine. It can be very powerful in riding the body of toxins, getting the liver to work properly, reducing inflammation in the colon and treating other chronic conditions. READ MORE

Emotional issues are very often tied to health issues. We work with our patients on an ongoing basis to explore your personal issues impeding greater health. Naturopathic Medicine offers many herbal, homeopathic and nutritional solutions to psycohological conditions such as depression and anxiety.
