The professional association of naturopathic physicians provides a wealth of information about the profession, a national directory of naturopathic physicians around the country and many interesting links Alliance for Naturopathic Medicine: a coalition of groups and individuals interested in promoting the growth of naturopathic medicine. A primary focus is the passage of regulation statutes for the profession in states where the practice is limited by current law. Medical Journals

PubMed
The National Library of Medicine's entry way to search Medline.

Online Medical and Scientific Journals
My most used resource: Links to Medical Journals Page: Paul Bergner, the editor of Medical Herbalism maintains an excellent web site (MedHerb.com) and I've relied on this "links page" for years as a fast and easy to remember portal into the various different medical journals and medical libraries of the world. Another great page with links to medical journals is Robert Crayhorn's Designs for Health Institute , a group that teaches advanced courses for nutritionists.

Natural Medicine Online
Michael Murray, ND has produced this magazine for years and was one of my favorite monthly journals. It is no longer published on paper but is published on the web instead. You can quickly and easily download articles or entire journals. Register at Dr. Murray's site for monthly reminders when the new issue is ready along with a capsule summary of new articles.

Diet/Nutrition

Paleolithic Diet
The paleolithic diet homepage with links to all sorts of sites related to primitive diets and encouragement to eat like a cave man.

Mercola.com
I highly recommend that you subscribe to this free weekly newsletter. Dr. Mercola is on the cutting edge.

Thyroid.about.com
Mary Shoman, author of Living Well with Hypothyroidism: What Your Doctor Doesn't’t Tell You That You Need to Know, hosts this informative web site. Look for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists announcement that the new TSH normal range is now .3 to 3.0. This could change the way you’ve been being treated.

Pharmacy
